At first glance this Gustavian bedside chest of drawers looks simply white. But upon closer inspection the pastel blues and greens emerge. You can get a similar finish by layering Annie Sloan Chalk Paint®. Start with a solid coat of Old White and lightly paint touches of Louis Blue and Duck Egg Blue. Seal with clear wax and lightly distress. A charming addition to any bedroom.
Swedish style furniture is a particular favorite of mine. For more Gustavian inspiration see my posts, Swedish Gustavian Chest, Swedish Country Style, and Country Blue Wardrobe
Love it!!! Louis blue is such a beautiful blue. I wish I lived next door to you!!

I have a chest which had been painted duck egg. Do you think if I put a thin coat of Old White over it that I could get a similar effect?
