Video #20: Chalk Painting a Brass Chandelier

In part 2 of 3 in my Brass Chandelier video series I add Chalk Paint directly to the metal surface to create an old world, vintage, look on an ordinary chandelier. I include the products to use and demonstrate, step by step the painting techniques.

If you missed  Part 1: The Preparation,  of this Brass Chandelier Series, you can see it by clicking here, as well as any of my earlier videos by clicking on the tools tab. Tomorrow I will be posting the final video in the series where I add the finishing touches and show you the transformation. So be sure to check back here to see it.

I never hesitate to use paint to update old chandeliers and light fixtures. If you are wanting more lighting inspiration,  see my posts, A Tale of Two Chandeliers, Light it Up, and DIY Faux Mercury Glass Sconce

What brush are you using? I have yet to find a brush I love to use with chalk paint.
