Swedish Cupboard

An Antique Swedish Cupboard found here via Pinterest is the inspiration for an Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® color palette of muted greens and soft lavenders. Use different shades of Chateau Grey by mixing with Old White and layering for a worn finish. Add Old White for highlights. Accent the trim and molding with subtle touches of Emile.

Consider painting the interior a custom color  with a mix of equal parts Chateau Grey and Emile. The result is a warm  complex taupe which will enhance both colors.

thank you for sharing your thoughts and ways in which you achieved success. I am one year into painting so many different pieces with Annie Sloan chalk paint. I love transforming APs to showcase what might be featured with it. I am always searching for different ways to think about the use of color because it’s easy to get stuck in your old favorites!
I did all of my kitchen cupboards inside and out Aubusson blue with a wash of Versailles and the cupboard doors were Versailles all finished with clear and dark wax. Inside us Versailles with the front if the shelves in Aubusson. When I eventually post pics I’ll let you know.
My best to you!

Leslie,
Looking for a little of your expertise and directions on redoing my armoire to resemble the Swedish Cupboard 2014 on your website.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Step-by-step would be fantastic!
Thanks so much.
