I have to admit, I’ve missed it: Black. It’s one of my favorite colors. I think it’s the New York part of me. It’s my go to color for so many things, fashion, walls, fabric, furniture, lighting, accessories, you name it. One of my Pinterest boards is named The New Black.
Nothing says black, well, like, black. And sometimes a deep rich charcoal grey is just not enough. Not when what you’re really wanting is a true black.
Inspired by images like these, I painted all my interior doors, using Rustoleum Oil Based Paint. In spite of the fact that it’s my least favorite medium any more, with all the fumes and messy clean-up.
So you can imagine my excitement when I received the hand painted color card from Pure & Original Paint, and saw all of their stock colors in all of their eco-friendly paints.
Not just gorgeous shades of grey.
But a real honest to goodness, nothing else will do, can’t wait to get my hands on a can, true Black.Just like everyone else, I’m anxiously awaiting the arrival in America of Pure & Original Paint. Until then, you can see all of my P&O inspiration on my Pinterest board, Pure & Original Paint, where I’ve collected 400+ pins. For more specific information about all of their luscious colors and paint, go to the Pure & Original website in The Netherlands. You can also follow me on Facebook and Instagram, where I promise to update you as soon as I get more samples.
I like Annie Sloan Chalk Paint for my craft and furniture projects, but for walls nothing compares to Pure & Original Fresco Lime Paint. Checkout my most recent interior design make overs with Fresco. It can be purchased online at www.502paint.com
