Pure & Original Paint Colors-Black

I have to admit, I’ve missed it: Black. It’s one of my favorite colors. I think it’s the New York part of me. It’s my go to color for so many things, fashion, walls, fabric, furniture, lighting, accessories, you name it. One of my Pinterest boards is named The New Black.

Nothing says black, well, like, black. And sometimes a deep rich charcoal grey is just not enough. Not when what you’re really wanting is a true black.

Inspired by images like these, I painted all my interior doors, using Rustoleum Oil Based Paint. In spite of the fact that it’s my least favorite medium any more, with all the fumes and messy clean-up.

So you can imagine my excitement when I received the hand painted color card from Pure & Original Paint, and saw all of their stock colors in all of their eco-friendly paints.

I totally agree with you, Leslie, about missing a true black chalk paint! Every room should have a touch of black even if it is as small as a lamp shade! Black anchors a room. ! I am so excited to see Pure & Original coming to America! Can’t wait!

So agree. With a recent remodel, I painted all my interior farm doors black and used antique white porcelain knobs.
