Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Swatch Book.  Paint Colors + Tints

Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® Tints

Hi Everyone!

The move from Colorways on blogspot to Colorways @ lesliestocker.com is almost complete. All (190+) of my posts have been added to this new site and are in the process of being categorized by color. That means that you should be able (very soon) to click on any of the colors on the Color Palette and you will see all of the Colorways posts where that color is used. This was not available on blogspot and much of the reason I moved Colorways to WordPress. I am really excited to be able to offer this new feature to my readers. Many of the posts have already been been categorized,  but some of the others are still in process. Thanks for being so patient as I continue work out the kinks!

Since I originally posted this on March 7, 2014, it has been my most popular viewed, Pinned, and Shared post and I wanted to let you know it is here and how to find it. You can expand your colors not just for Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, but for other brands as well. Here is another example of a color swatch book I created for Pure & Original Classico Paint by adding white to all their colors.tintschart

For more swatch books see these posts you may have missed.  If you want to compare these colors to my color swatches of  Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® you can find more color studies by clicking on the Tools tab or referring to my posts ASCP Colors + Tints  and  ASCP Colors + Shades.

I like Annie Sloan Chalk Paint  for my craft and furniture projects, but for walls nothing compares to Pure & Original Fresco Lime Paint. I love the natural variations of shades and tones the lime creates within one paint color. You have to see how gorgeous it is! Checkout my most recent interior design make overs with Fresco. It can be purchased online at www.502paint.com

Anna,
you are such a sweetie! Yes that is all me. Not easy for me to do at all.. I like being unnoticed, in the background. Nine tutorials are finished and soon will be up on the blog but they hardly get past the very basics so I am scheduled to do some more. I may have to actually have to let them show me on camera next times I have put it off until September. Love and Hugs to you,
Leslie

Hi Nicole,
You can download and print any of my swatch books but keep in mind that printers and ink are notoriously inconsistant with regard to color. My swatches are just meant to be a starting point. For actual paint samples Annie Sloan Chalk Paint stockists have them available of her premixed colors. Thanks for asking but I don’t have an actual book for sale.

The way you put colors together is amazing! I am looking forward to leaving my routine job behind and being able to enjoy being creative. Your mention of being on sabbatical sounds wonderful!

Thanks Debbie,
I took a summer off several years ago due to a last minute problem with child care. I basically never went back. (well I did go back for a few months to close things out). Since then I started a new career and a new business. Really never stopped working but now I’m doing something I love. Thanks for letting me know you like my blog!
Cheers,
Leslie

Hi Leslie. I just discovered you!! I’m just getting my feet wet painting things with ASCP and loving it…though it’s hard for me to “come out of my box” so to speak. I love looking at all you’ve painted, you artist you!, especially your commentary telling what colors you use for the base and layering. I am assuming your new blog isn’t up and running yet because every time I hover my cursor over one of your tutorials, it goes “pale” on me and nothing happens. I so look forward to learning more from you and bringing the creative side out of me. I know it’s in me somewhere!!

Thank you for sharing and I look forward to each and every post. I am on your email list : )

Hi Susie
I’m not sure what is happening that you can’t see the tutorials. This is the first time I’ve heard of a problem. You can also view them on You Tube under Leslie Stocker.
If you are trying to view them on Facebook or Pinterest or Paintcolorways.blogspot.com those are just screen grabs but there should be a link to this blog

Let me know if you continue to have problems. Thanks
Leslie

Hi Leslie. I’m quite the novice at this, so any suggestions would be gratefully accepted. I’m painting a small curio cabinet that is a cream colour right now. The furniture is thinly laminated and I’d like to paint it a pale green. Do you think mixing Annie Sloan Antibes green with Pure white would get that result?
Thank you in advance. Love your colour charts!

Happy New Year, Leslie! I just stumbled upon your blog via Pinterest. While reading, I was astounded to see that you had linked color swatches to real life examples. I’ve only browsed through a few so far, but what a great resource! I’m thankful that you have poured your passion for color into this blog, as well as the furniture you work on. Wishing you all the best in 2017.
