Number 17 in Stockholm (found here via Pinterest), has an almost magical look. Don’t you just wonder what is behind that door? The architecture is magnificent but it is the enchanting blend of pale pinks and lavenders that give it a fairytale quality. Even the bricks have a purple hue. Maybe it’s the light in Stockholm that makes these colors so stunning.
Combining pastels of lavender and pink can be challenging. If you aren’t careful it can look like an Easter basket, or birthday party, or a little girl’s dress. So today I’m featuring this lovely photo to show it can be done. Even though you may not have an entryway like this, you can use this palette as color inspiration.
Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® can deliver a similar color scheme because her pinks and purples are delightfully muted and not garish. Use Antoinette, Emile and Paloma, layering and mixing, to create a sophisticated and magical blend of lavenders and pale pinks in your home decor.
