Chippendale Commode

Chippendale Commode copy

A Chippendale commode is painted in pale greys, warm browns, and touches of green. Chalk Paint from Annie Sloan can be used to achieve a similar antique patina. Paris Grey provides the foundation color with accents of Duck Egg Blue. Use Coco and Old White  for shadows and areas where the paint appears to have worn away. Lightly distress for additional age and wear .

Hi, I just took an Annie Sloan class last night. After much deliberation I’ve decided I want to do my nightstands like this. Did you use dark, mixed or clear wax? and What techniques did you use?Wash? Chippy?
Thanks
