Blast From The Past

I’m still a little painted out from all of the projects last week. So before I jump into my next one, I thought I would reshare an image I created for Colorways almost a year ago.

All of my Colorways images are available, here on the Blog, for free. You can download and print any of them, as long as it is for your personal use. Here are links to two of the most popular, Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® Colors + Tints, and Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® Colors + Shades, and you can find all of my other color cards and paint charts (including Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint) by clicking on the Tools tab. Also under the Tools tab is where you can access all of my Video Tutorials, or if you prefer you can watch them on You Tube. Just be sure to hit the subscribe button on the screen so you can see the newest ones as soon as they are posted.

Have a great weekend, everyone, and a lovely Valentine’s Day:)

I like Annie Sloan Chalk Paint for my craft and furniture projects, but for walls nothing compares to Pure & Original Fresco Lime Paint. I love the natural variations of shades and tones the lime creates within one paint color. Checkout my most recent interior design make overs with Fresco. It can be purchased online at www.502paint.com

Hi Leslie I am painting my husbands old desk graphite. What brush should I use and should I paint two coats? It is already a dark brown and I will be wXing it with brown wax to make it more of a black color. Is there something I need to do differently?

I am going to paint a table and six chairs. The table has a smooth lip at the top, next it has a very ornamental 3-4 inches. Legs are smooth and curve at the bottom. I thought I would paint the legs green, the ornamental part creamy white and antique the ornamental part and then a gold lip. The chairs I was going to paint a shiny laquer red and cover the cushions in a material that has red, green and cream in it. I’ve seen these combinations separately but not together. There might be some creamy white and gold on the chairs. What do you think? Would you please send your response to my e-mail? I will never find this place again. Thanks
